01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Perth’s vibrant dining scene, 7 Grams Restaurant offers an authentic Korean culinary experience specializing in crispy, flavorful fried chicken that keeps locals and visitors coming back for more. This cozy yet lively spot at 212 Lake St delivers a delightful menu that seamlessly blends classic Korean dishes with a modern twist.

The star of the show here is undoubtedly their Korean fried chicken. Crispy on the outside and irresistibly juicy inside, every bite bursts with perfectly balanced flavors. Whether you opt for the special combo for three, as recommended by satisfied diners, or explore their wide array of spicy, savory, and tangy wing flavors, you’ll find each piece cooked to perfection. The chicken’s crunch remains intact even when smothered in sauce—a true testament to their expert preparation.

But 7 Grams goes beyond just wings. Their Bibimbap is a standout, featuring a harmonious mix of steamed rice, spicy sauce, tender chicken, and fresh vegetables that creates a symphony of textures and tastes in every mouthful. It’s a dish that leaves you feeling nourished and satisfied without being overly heavy. Portions are generous, ideal for sharing or indulging in your cravings solo.

The dining atmosphere is casual and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family. Some guests have noted the outdoor seating can get a bit sunny near sunset, but that’s a small detail in an otherwise outstanding experience.

What truly makes 7 Grams shine is its consistent quality and flavor. Regular customers praise it as a go-to spot for Korean fried chicken that never fails to impress, with authentic heat levels (warning: their spicy variant brings serious fire!) and generous portions. Visitors from afar are equally enamored, often returning multiple times during their stay to sample more of the menu’s delights.

If you’re craving Korean food that combines tradition with superb taste and expert craftsmanship, 7 Grams Restaurant in Perth is a must-visit destination. Whether it’s a casual takeaway or a sit-down meal, prepare for a memorable feast that captures the very essence of Korean comfort food.

Solid classic Korean fried chicken. Ordered the special combo for three and it was more than enough. Chicken was super crispy, stayed crunchy even with sauce, and the meat was juicy. Flavours were well balanced and not too heavy. Great for sharing and would happily come back.

This is easily one of my go-to spots for Korean fried chicken. The menu offers a wide range of flavours, and every option I’ve tried has been consistently delicious. The chicken is cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. A quick note for new customers: the spicy flavour is extremely spicy, so approach with caution if you’re not used to heat. Overall, a fantastic place for quality Korean fried chicken and a reliable favourite of mine.

We finished watching Bon Appetite Your Majesty. Craving Bibimbap and we found this new open Korean restaurant. The Bibimbap it was so tasty. Everything balanced out perfectly. The portions just so big that enough to fill with all the cravings-the rice with spicy sauce, juicy chicken and veggies, honestly so tasty . Thank you so much for the generosity , We will surely come back.

Can't go wrong with their food here. Almost anything you order on the menu is delicious and I've been here a few times to try out their selection. If you think the spicy chicken is spicy, think again haha there's no kick! Outside seating can be glaring when the sun is setting and they do not have any blinds to block the sun.

We’re visiting from South Australia, and today we had the chance to try some Korean cuisine. Honestly, it was absolutely delicious, so much so that we couldn’t stop raving about it. We’re definitely coming back to dine here again while we’re in Perth. Highly recommended!

Sooo good!! My Korean husband said, that it is better than a lot of fried chicken we ate in Korea lol It's quite expensive not gonna lie.. We only ate there one time, probably if we stayed in Perth more we had love to go back and try more, anyway it's quite worth it . We order the set with potatoes, salad and three type of chicken [you can order through your phone(the payment is later at the cashier)] sadly the page where you order is very dark (at least was for me) and I couldn't see well so I only selected 2 types of chicken.. Very nicely, they asked if I wanted the last sauce separately and they bring it right away. We couldn't finish it and we bring it home (ate the next day and it was still delicious ~), the fries also were sooo good, one of the best I ate recently, very well seasoned! the seat are near to each other but it not too bad.

I used to remember this place as tastier, or maybe I just preferred their old menu. The noodles were good. The chicken in their combo was a bit on the sweet side for me besides the plain. The Kimchi pancake was probably the best item we had.

7 grams offers a unique experience both in taste and atmosphere. Their fried chicken is cooked to perfection and food comes out quickly. I have never been to a restaurant quite like it as there are so many flavours to choose from. 7 grams is a one of a kind chicken experience that you have to visit if your near the area and hopefully the restaurant stays just as good in a couple years.
